Božo Skoko
Dr. Božo Skoko is a full-time university professor, publicist, and renowned communication sciences expert. He serves as Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Studies and Science Communication at Algebra Bernays University, Croatia’s leading private university, and has held a long-standing professorship in subjects related to strategic communication at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Zagreb.
He is one of the first Croatian scientists who systematically researched and analyzed the phenomenon of national branding and destination branding in tourism. He is the co-founder of Millenium promocija (MPR), one of the leading and oldest communication management agencies in Croatia. He is a former journalist and editor with Croatian Radio and Television. He is the author of eight books, including the bestsellers Croatia in 30 Stories (2024.), Strategic Communication of States (2021.), Understanding Croatia (2018) and Croatian Greats (2014).
