SUBMISSION OF PAPERS AND PRESENTATIONS

Congress participants can actively contribute to the programme by submitting professional and scientific papers or by presenting examples of good practice and successful projects, thereby further fostering the connection between science and practice. 

The Congress is organized in co-organization with the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts and its Center for Scientific Work in Vinkovci and other relevant national and international institutions.

The conference proceedings will be finalized after the Congress and submitted for consideration for indexing in the WoS and Scopus databases, and the highest-quality papers will have the opportunity to be published in the scientific journals Tourism, Acta Turistica, Tourism and Hospitality Management, or Agroeconomia Croatica.

 

PARTICIPATION WITH A PRESENTATION OF A GOOD PRACTICE EXAMPLE / CASE STUDY / PROJECT

  • This includes participation only with a presentation of good practice examples/projects related to the subtheme Practice Speaks – Examples of Good Practice and Innovative Projects.
  • A brief description of the presentation and the intention to present at the Congress is submitted using the designated form (Presentation_Application_Form) via email: kongres.urednik@vuv.hr.
  • Presentations are not subject to a peer-review process.
  • The PowerPoint presentation template will be provided to authors no later than two weeks before the Congress.
  • Application deadline: March 31, 2026.

 

PARTICIPATION WITH ABSTRACT / FULL PAPER / PRESENTATION

  • This includes participation with a full professional or scientific paper.
  • The abstract is submitted in English through the Indico system using the provided template.
  • If the abstract is accepted after review by one reviewer, the complete scientific or professional paper, together with the abstract, prepared according to technical guidelines and written in English, must be submitted electronically via Indico.
  • Papers undergo a peer-review process by two independent reviewers, and positively reviewed papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings.
  • A prerequisite for publication in the Conference Proceedings is that the paper be presented either in person or online at the Congress by one or more of the authors.
  • One author may submit a maximum of two (2) papers, either as author or co-author.

 

Abstract Submission Procedure

Abstracts are submitted via the Indico system using the designated template.

  • Create an Indico account using your email address.
  • You will receive a registration email with a confirmation link.
  • Click on “Submit new abstract.”
  • Fill in the form (title, author, co-author(s), thematic area) and upload your abstract in the Attachments field.

Paper Submission Procedure

Papers are submitted via the Indico system using the designated template.

  • Log in to your Indico account using your email address.
  • Use the same account that you used to submit your abstract.
  • Click on “Full Paper Submission” (in the left menu).
  • Click on “Submit paper” and upload your full paper as a .docx document.
