Aleksandar Mešić

Prof. Aleksandar Mešić, PhD, MBA Agr is a full professor at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Agriculture, with more than 25 years of experience in higher education and research. His areas of expertise include plant protection, entomology, food safety, and the bioeconomy, and since 2024 he has served as Dean. He obtained his PhD in Phytomedicine at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb, where he also completed his previous degrees and an Executive MBA in Agribusiness. He has participated in more than 30 international and national projects and has published over 100 scientific and professional papers. He has also undertaken professional training in several countries, including Ireland, Spain, China, and the United Kingdom. In addition to his academic career, he has more than 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship.
