REGISTRATION OF PAPERS, PRESENTATIONS AND POSTERS

You can participate in the congress in one of the following ways:

  1. Presentation of work
  2. Poster
  3. Full paper and presentation
  4. Full paper and poster

GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

Participation with a work presentation or poster

1st option (description of application through the Indico system)

  • Includes participation only with a presentation or poster of works related to the sub-theme Practice speaks - examples of good practice from the public and private sector
  • A brief description of the presentation or poster must be submitted through the Indico system
  • Presentations or posters of works are not subject to the review process

Submission procedure:

  • Those who already have an Indico account can register abstracts and complete works through the Indico system using the following link: https://indico.vuv.hr/event/16/.
  • If you do not already have an Indico account, you should register in the Indico system before submitting a brief description of the presentation or poster:
    • Create an Indico account using your email address. You will receive a registration email with a confirmation link.
    • Click on "Submit a new summary".
    • Fill in the form (title, content, author(s), co-author(s)), put in a comment that it is a sub-topic Practice speaks - examples of good practice from the public and private sector, choose the topic area of the presentation or poster, specify key words and mark type of participation)
    • Click on "Submit". You will receive an email with a submission confirmation.

Deadline for submission: March 22, 2024

2nd option (description of application via e-mail)

  • Includes participation only with a presentation or poster of works related to the sub-theme Practice speaks - examples of good practice from the public and private sector
  • A brief description of the presentation or poster and the intention to present at the Congress should be submitted by e-mail to kongres@klubselo.hr no later than March 22, 2024.
  • Presentations or posters of works are not subject to the review process

Participation with a complete paper and a presentation or poster 

  • includes participation with complete professional or scientific work
  • the abstract is submitted in English through the system https://indico.vuv.hr/ 
  • in case of acceptance of an abstract reviewed by one reviewer, the entire scientific or professional work, together with the abstract, prepared according to technical instructions and written in English, is submitted electronically through the system https://indico.vuv.hr/ 
  • papers undergo a review process by two independent reviewers, and positively reviewed papers will be published in the Proceedings
  • the condition for publishing a work in the Proceedings is that it be presented by one or more authors at the Congress itself or that a poster about the work is displayed at the Congress

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

The abstract must contain between 400 and 450 words and be structured in 4 subheadings:

  1. Purpose/reasons for writing
  2. Research methodology
  3. Results/main results of the conducted research
  4. Contribution and suggestions for further research

Key words (3-6): Use both general and topic-specific terms.

The abstract should be written in English. Use the abstract template when writing your abstract (required!) and check grammar and spelling before submitting.

All abstracts must be in .doc or .docx format (MS Office Word 97-2003 onwards). Abstract files should be named according to the title of the paper (for example: LiteraryTourismInCroatia.doc).

One author can submit a maximum of two (2) papers, as author or co-author.

Submitted abstracts should be uploaded through the Indico system. Before submitting your abstract, you need to register in the Indico system:

SUBMISSION OF COMPLETE WORK

Papers should be written in English.

Authors are responsible for the linguistic quality of their work, and it is strongly recommended that a native speaker or English language expert review their work before submission, to ensure that the work is linguistically acceptable.

Submitted papers are subject to double-blind domestic and international peer review.

One author can submit a maximum of two (2) papers, as author or co-author.

Submission procedure:

  1. Submitted works should be uploaded through the Indico system.
  2. Create an Indico account using your email address. You will receive a registration email with a confirmation link.
  3. Click on "Submit a new summary".
  4. Fill in the form (title, author(s), co-author(s)), upload an abstract written on the given template, indicate the thematic area of the work and the type of participation).
  5. Click on "Submit". You will receive an email with a submission confirmation.

Deadline for submitting the complete work: June 15, 2024.
