Excitement is slowly building because there are only 20 days left until the 6th International Congress on Rural Tourism. The wonderful ambience of the Le Meridien Lav hotel in Podstrana will host numerous scientists and recognized experts from the world of rural tourism from April 10 to 13, 2024. We are also expecting a special award ceremony for the best young farmers in 2024.

The slogan of the 6th International Congress on Rural Tourism is "Rural tourism: sustainable, digital, inclusive". The Croatian Association for Tourism and Rural Development "Members' Club Village" and the organizers of the Congress are working hard on every detail so that all the pieces are perfectly arranged. Considering that rural tourism represents a significant factor in the reactivation of natural resources that contribute to the preservation of local identity, traditions and customs, strengthens indigenous and ecological production of agricultural products and helps rural areas achieve sustainable development, we rightly call it the future of world tourism.

The mosaic of events at the 6th International Congress on Rural Tourism is truly diverse and offers numerous options. In addition to eight large thematic units, as well as their subthemes, numerous panels, round tables and workshops will be held during the Congress. The arrival of more than 300 participants from several European countries is expected, providing a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and ideas and connect with top experts in the field of rural tourism.
