Meet the Patrons of the 6th International Congress on Rural Tourism
Zagreb, March 26, 2024 - The value of the 6th International Congress on Rural Tourism was also recognized by the Patrons of this event. Thus, the arrival of recognized European experts and the exchange of knowledge in the field of rural tourism will be supported by prominent Croatian institutions. The Ministry of Agriculture performs administrative and other tasks in the fields of agriculture, fisheries, forestry, rural development, management and disposal of agricultural land owned by the state, agricultural policy, market and structural support in agriculture, food and tobacco industry, and veterinary medicine. The Ministry implements and coordinates measures for rural development, development of rural areas, ecological and sustainable agriculture, agricultural cooperatives and other forms of association in agriculture and fisheries, promotion of indigenous products, marketing preparation of agricultural and food products, and preservation of original and protected breeds of domestic animals.

The scope of this Committee's work includes: determining and monitoring the implementation of policy, and in the process of passing laws and other regulations, the Committee has the rights and duties of the parent working body in the areas of agriculture, sea and freshwater fisheries, mariculture, veterinary medicine, villages and rural development, and forestry and of water management.
• Central State Office for Demography and Youth
The Central State Office for Demography and Youth performs administrative and other tasks related to the monitoring and analysis of demographic trends and movements in the Republic of Croatia, especially changes in the number of inhabitants, natural movement of the population through migration and population structure; proposes measures aimed at increasing the birth rate, balancing the age structure, maintaining the spatial balance of the population; motivating young people to stay in Croatia, parenting support measures and measures aimed at harmonizing family and professional life, etc.
• Central State Office for Croats outside the Republic of Croatia
Caring for Croats outside the Republic of Croatia is an integral part of the internal and external policy of the Republic of Croatia. The strategic goal of the Republic of Croatia is the preservation, strengthening, and development of Croatian unity and the economic and general progress of both Croats in their homeland and Croats living in other countries. That is why special efforts will be made to protect the rights and interests of Croats outside the Republic of Croatia and to strengthen Croatian communities while respecting all their peculiarities and different needs.
