Kristjan Staničić

Kristjan Staničić (b. 1973, Koper) graduated from the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Opatija, where he also earned his master’s degree. He completed the Diplomatic Academy in Zagreb. He began his career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1996–2001) and served at the Croatian Embassy in Ljubljana. He has extensive experience in tourism, holding senior roles at Hotel Novi, Liburnia Riviera Hotels, Jadran Crikvenica, and Hotel Bernardin in Portorož. Since 2017, he has been Director of the Croatian Tourist Board Head Office.
