Renata Banožić

Renata Banožić was born on March 13, 1974, in Nuremberg. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb and completed library studies in Osijek. She began her career as a teacher in secondary schools in Ilok and Vukovar and served as director of the Ilok City Library for 17 years. Politically active since 2000 as a member of the Hrvatska demokratska zajednica, she has been elected to the County Assembly three times. From 2021 to 2025, she served as President of the Ilok City Council, and in 2025 she was elected Mayor of Ilok.
