Irena Grdinić
Irena Grdinić was born in 1972 in Rijeka. She is a graduate teacher of Croatian language and literature. Throughout most of her professional career, she has been engaged in radio journalism, working at Primorski Radio, Radio Korzo, and for the past eight years at Croatian Radio – Radio Rijeka. In her work, she is particularly dedicated to tourism-related topics and has organized several promotional tourism initiatives, including selections of the best tourist destinations in the Kvarner region and Gorski Kotar. She has also spent 12 years working at the Primorsko-goranska županija as a senior advisor for protocol, public relations, and EU programs. Her professional activities include hosting various events and promotional campaigns, PR consulting, acting, and singing. Together with her colleague Mario Lipovšek, she co-wrote and performs in the play “Casabianca,” which has been performed over 350 times.
