Andreas Niederl

Andreas Niederl serves as the senior researcher and deputy head of the Regional Economics and Structural Policy research group at POLICIES – Institute for Economic, Social and Innovation Research, part of JOANNEUM RESEARCH Forschungsgesellschaft mbH. With a research focus on regional and sectoral labor market policy, structural and innovation policy, and a particular emphasis on quantitative methods and impact assessment, he has contributed to numerous program monitoring and evaluations. His expertise includes work on the tourism sector for more than 15 years, encompassing regional, national, and international perspectives.
