Agnė Vaitkuvienė

Dr. Agnė Vaitkuvienė is president of the Lithuanian Countryside Tourism Association and owner and manager of the rural tourism homestead „Provansalis“. The homestead „Provansalis," founded in 2004, is a large, event-oriented place with an equestrian and organic farm, and vineyard. Dr. Agnė Vaitkuvienė is also president of the European Rural Tourism Federation, ‘Ruraltour’. Ruraltour is an umbrella federation that unites rural tourism associations all over Europe. The president is also a member of the board responsible for the activities of the federation. Dr. Agnė Vaitkuvienė graduated from Vilnius University, Faculty of History, where she still works and teaches subjects related to heritage and tourism. Dr. Agnė Vaitkuvienė has been managing the Lithuanian Countryside Tourism Association since 2019. Currently, the association has more than 400 members in Lithuania. As the president, she is responsible for the activities of the association, including lobbying for the rural tourism business and project activities.
