Jasna Hoffmann

Jasna Hoffmann (born in 1980 in Osijek) has served as Director of the Public Institution Pleternica since 2021, overseeing the city’s cultural and tourism activities, including two interpretation centres: the natural heritage centre Terra Panonica and the cultural heritage centre of the Bećarac Museum. Her dedication to the development and preservation of natural and cultural heritage has earned these centres prestigious national and European awards.

The most notable recognition is the Croatian Annual Tourism Award for 2023 in the Cultural Tourism category, awarded to the Bećarac Museum. Over the past years, under her coordination, a travelling exhibition titled “A Phenomenon in Two Verses – Bećarac” was created, along with the publication of the “Book of Bećarac Songs”. She regularly participates in conferences as both a speaker and organiser.

In addition, she is a member of the Governing Board of the Pleternica Tourist Board and is actively involved in various associations dedicated to the promotion and preservation of cultural heritage.
