Hans Embacher

Hans Embacher is the director of the Austrian Farm Holiday Association since 1991 and one of the key stakeholders in rural tourism in Austria. Embacher is also the vice president of the European association for rural and farm tourism "Eurogites".

With its consistent quality policy and the establishment of the brand „Farm Holidays in Austria“, the development of various products of special interest, and finally, the successful presentation of 2,300 small agricultural enterprises on a common web-platform, the Austrian Farm Holiday Association has achieved a sustainable, successful development and a strong position in the Austrian tourism and agriculture sector. This organization, with around 2,300 member farms (with 27,000 guest beds), has been a "role model" for many developments and projects in numerous European countries over the years.
