Darija Tankosić

The focus of Darija Tankosić's business activities is the creation of public policies. Through her association "My Innovation," she is dedicated to the development of innovative models of regional connectivity, the concept of the development of SMART rural areas, the sector of innovation, the creative industries of the region, education and female entrepreneurship, as well as the creation of new business and social models.

With more than 20 years of experience in the development sector in state institutions and companies, education, business and political analytics, creation of new products, lobbying, design, and management of social, marketing, and economic campaigns in Serbia and the Western Balkan region, she launched the SMARTVILL project—the concept development of SMART rural areas adapted to modern trends of integrated models of ecological, residential, educational, and economic rural centres combined with sustainable management, innovation, and remote work logistics.

As a graduate of political science, she began to develop her high organisational skills in the media and then through the management of complex joint activities and the coordination of highly structured state services in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, as well as the management of communications and crisis situations in the state administration.

She held managerial positions in the corporate sector, and since 2007, as an entrepreneur and consultant, she has represented numerous distinguished clients, dealing with the reputation of the personality as well as the development of the company's business policy and the positioning of new products and services in Serbia and the Region.

She is a member of the Section for Women's Entrepreneurship, PKS, in charge of regional networking; she initiated a networking project of successful women called "Leaders of the Balkans," and she initiated the establishment of the "Council for Creative Industries" in Banja Luka, Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the aim of regional networking. She is the co-organiser of the "Jahorina Economic Forum," one of the most respectable regional business events.
