Mirela Rubić
Mirela Rubić was born in 1976 in Germany. She graduated from a business school in Stuttgart, after which she was employed at Mercedes headquarters in the sales and marketing department of passenger vehicles for Southeast Asia. In 1995, she continued her career in Singapore, working for the same company, where she was responsible for the organisation of corporate events, social projects, and relations with external partners. In 2005, she met her husband, Denis Rubić, in Omiš and decided to return to Croatia.
Together with her husband, she runs the company DALMACONSULT Ltd., which specialises in business consulting, especially for companies from Germany, and EU funds. In 2007, she opened the agency AUTHENTICA Ltd. for congress tourism and individual travel with a focus on authentic experiences. In 2022, it expands its activity to mediation in the sale of real estate and helps entrepreneurs from German-speaking countries find their real estate or invest in Croatia.
In 2023, she launched the association of businesswomen, MACHERINNEN SPLIT, which gathers a circle of businesswomen in the Split region who immigrated from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In 2010, she and her husband started an ecological plantation of Marasca Cherries in Katuni near Šestanovac on a total area of 600,000 m2, where today they welcome delegations, students, and tourists who taste their top products while listening to their story about the cultivation of the autochthonous variety and a tradition spanning more than 500 years.
