Viktorya Ayvazyan

Viktorya Ayvazyan is an International Rural Development Specialist at the FAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia (REU), supporting the regional priority programme “Facilitating Inclusive Rural Transformation for Enhanced Livelihoods and Sustainable Development.”

With a background in economics and over a decade of experience in agriculture and rural development, she currently focuses on participatory and inclusive local development, working with governments and local stakeholders across the region. Her expertise includes family farming, collective action, agribusiness development, and the management of communal resources. Alongside her field experience, she has contributed to a range of regional and national research projects. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness and Marketing and a Master’s degree in Agricultural Production Economics.
